Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Slingstorm mobile game ("App") and website at slingstorm.io ("Site"), operated by Hamza Halabi ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or playing Slingstorm, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Site.

1. Eligibility

Slingstorm is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the App you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. License to Play

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and play Slingstorm for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. This license does not include the right to:

Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any of its content
Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
Use the App for any commercial purpose or on behalf of a third party
Remove or obscure any proprietary notices or labels

3. Virtual Currency and Items

Slingstorm uses a virtual in-game currency ("Coins") and virtual items (slingshots, pets, upgrades). You acknowledge that:

Coins and virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or any real-world currency
Coins and virtual items are not your property — we grant you a limited license to use them within the App
We may modify, reset, or discontinue virtual currency and items at any time
Virtual items are non-transferable and may not be sold, traded, or given to other players

4. In-App Purchases

Slingstorm offers optional in-app purchases processed by Google Play Billing. All purchases are subject to Google Play's terms and payment policies in addition to these Terms.

Consumable purchases (coin packs): Coin packs are delivered immediately upon purchase and are non-refundable once the coins have been credited to your account, except as required by applicable law or Google Play's refund policy.

Non-consumable purchases (Remove Ads, Supporter Pack, Starter Pack): These are one-time permanent unlocks. Refund requests are handled by Google Play per their standard refund policy (typically within 48 hours of purchase). After that window, refunds are at our discretion.

If you believe a purchase was not delivered correctly, contact us at support@slingstorm.io with your order details and we will investigate promptly.

5. Restore Purchases

Non-consumable purchases (Remove Ads, Supporter Pack) can be restored at any time via the "Restore Purchases" option in the in-game Store tab or Settings. Google Play Games sign-in is required for cross-device restore to work correctly.

6. Advertising

The free version of Slingstorm contains advertisements served by Google AdMob, including:

Interstitial ads — shown between levels (no more than once every 90 seconds)
Rewarded ads — optional, player-initiated; watching unlocks a bonus (revive, coin boost, or double chest reward)

Purchasing the "Remove Ads" or "Supporter Pack" product permanently removes non-optional interstitial ads. Rewarded ads remain available as an optional bonus but are never required to progress.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Cheat, use hacks, bots, or any unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage
Manipulate, exploit, or abuse game mechanics, leaderboards, or in-app purchase systems
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our backend servers
Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
Harass, impersonate, or harm other players

Violations may result in removal of your scores from leaderboards, suspension of cloud save access, or other remedies at our discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All content in Slingstorm — including graphics, sounds, game design, code, and text — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING LOSS OF VIRTUAL CURRENCY OR ITEMS, LOSS OF GAME PROGRESS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $10.00, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE, except where applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.

Note: if you are located in the European Union, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under EU consumer protection law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes we will provide notice via an in-game notification.
